Thanks to his win at the Humana Challenge, Bill Haas has entered the top 10 in the Presidents Cup standings, as he tries to qualify for his father's team.
Bill's dad, Jay, a nine-time PGA Tour and 17-time Champions Tour winner, was announced as the U.S. captain in June, alongside his International counterpart Nike Price.
Bill Haas, who was winless last season for the first time since 2009 as he battled a wrist injury, hopped from 24th to sixth on the list with his win.
The 2015 matches will be held from Oct. 8-11 at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, as the event makes its first trip to Asia.
The younger Haas has previously represented the United States at the 2011 and 2013 Presidents Cups, compiling a 3-5-2 record, while the elder Haas served as an assistant to captain Fred Couples in 2013.
