McDowell discovers 'fake rough' at Pinehurst No. 2

During his U.S. Open practice round Tuesday morning at Pinehurst No. 2, Graeme McDowell hit his approach shot over the 12th green. It appeared to have settled up against a small bush in a sandy area, a lie McDowell called "not very pleasant."

Thankfully, McDowell has been known to successfully navigate his way around a U.S. Open venue, so upon further review, McDowell discovered the small bush was actually "fake rough." To see what he meant, click the image below to view the video:
